ROSÉ to Make Grammy History as First Solo K-Pop Artist to Perform at the 2026 Awards

ROSÉ is set to mark a historic milestone in global pop music when she takes the stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards, becoming the first solo K-pop artist ever to perform on Music’s Biggest Night. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 1, and her appearance signals a major moment not only for her career, but for K-pop’s continued rise on the world’s most prestigious music stages.

As a member of BLACKPINK, ROSÉ has already helped redefine the global reach of K-pop. However, this performance represents a new chapter — one where she steps into Grammy history entirely on her own. While K-pop acts have previously appeared at the Grammys, those moments were limited to group performances. BTS famously debuted on the Grammy stage in 2020 during a collaborative performance of “Old Town Road,” before earning standalone performance slots in 2021 with “Dynamite” and in 2022 with “Butter,” both Grammy-nominated hits.

Now, ROSÉ takes that legacy further.

At just 28 years old, ROSÉ arrives at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards as one of the most talked-about artists of the year. She has earned three Grammy nominations, all for her chart-dominating collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.” The track is competing in some of the night’s most prestigious categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance — a rare achievement for any artist, let alone a K-pop soloist.

While the Recording Academy has not officially confirmed whether Bruno Mars will join her on stage, industry insiders suggest his appearance is highly likely, given the song’s massive global success.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will also highlight emerging talent, with KATSEYE — a self-described global girl group — set to perform as part of a special extended segment featuring all eight Best New Artist nominees. The group reflects the international direction of modern pop, with members from the Philippines, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States.

Previously announced performers for the night include an impressive and diverse lineup such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Pharrell Williams, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Reba McEntire, The Marías, and many more — reinforcing the Grammys’ celebration of both legacy artists and new voices.

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, February 1 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, and will also be available to stream live and on demand via Paramount+.

Trevor Noah will return as host for the sixth consecutive — and final — time, making him the first host since Andy Williams to lead the Grammys for six straight years. The show will be produced by Fulwell Entertainment for the Recording Academy, with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Noah serving as executive producers.

With more performer announcements expected in the coming days, one thing is already clear: ROSÉ’s Grammy performance will be one of the most historic and talked-about moments of the night.
