The soundtrack for Stranger Things Season 5 has officially arrived — featuring classics from Michael Jackson, ABBA and more.

The beloved sci-fi series returns with new episodes, and with it, a fresh collection of iconic tracks that capture the spirit of the ’80s once again.

As of today, November 28, fans can stream the digital edition of Stranger Things: Season 5, Volume 1, which includes songs by ABBA, Michael Jackson, The Psychedelic Furs, Tiffany and other legendary artists.

The release will roll out in stages:

  • Volume 2 drops on December 26.
  • Volume 3 arrives January 1, 2026, compiling additional music from the season.

Then, on January 30, 2026, the complete soundtrack will be available on CD, vinyl, and red cassette, via Legacy Recordings (Sony Music). Fans can also pick up special colored vinyl editions, including Amazon’s red smoke, Target’s blue smoke, Walmart’s orange marble, and the Sony Music Store’s yellow marble variant.

This staggered rollout mirrors the release strategy of the show’s fifth and final season, whose first four episodes premiered on November 26. The official trailer, released in October, gave a first glimpse of the emotional tone ahead, featuring a new remix of Queen’s “Who Wants To Live Forever.”

The soundtrack was conceptualized and produced by the Duffer Brothers and Emmy-winning, Grammy-nominated music supervisor Nora Felder.

Since its debut in 2016, Stranger Things has stood out not only for its story and characters, but also for its soundtrack, which has revived hits like Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” and Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” for new generations.
