RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook were the final members to enlist, following Jin and j-hope, who began their service earlier. With the last five members finishing their duties in June 2025, BTS is set to reunite as a full septet for the first time in over two years, closing a chapter that began when Jin enlisted in December 2022.

Their comeback comes five years after the release of their most recent full group album, Be, a project that played a major role in elevating BTS to global superstardom. Tracks such as “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” became worldwide hits, paving the way for even more chart-topping releases that followed.

Despite stepping away at the peak of their success, the group never lost momentum. During their time apart, each member released solo music, including albums, EPs, singles, and high-profile collaborations. These projects allowed the members to grow individually, refining their artistry and returning stronger than ever.

Now, fans are eagerly looking ahead. While many details remain under wraps, BTS revealed on July 1 that they plan to release new music and embark on a tour in 2026. Prior to that announcement, several members had already hinted at exciting plans for the group’s future, making it clear that their reunion will mark not just a return, but a powerful new beginning.
