BTS has officially announced the release date of its long-awaited fifth studio album. On Sunday, January 4, the reunited K-pop icons revealed that the new record will be released on March 20. The album’s title has not yet been disclosed.
This release marks the group’s highly anticipated return after nearly four years apart, a period during which RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook fulfilled South Korea’s mandatory military service.

According to an official statement, the 14-track album reflects deep personal introspection, with each member contributing their individual perspectives to shape the project’s overall sound and direction.
In addition to the album, BTS confirmed plans for a world tour, with full details—including dates and venues—set to be announced on January 14. This will be their first major tour since Permission to Dance on Stage, which concluded in April 2022.
As part of the comeback, BTS has launched a brand-new official website featuring a countdown and promising more updates about the album and tour in the coming weeks. The group has also reset its official Instagram account, further fueling anticipation among fans.

The comeback was previously hinted at through messages shared in recent months, culminating in a New Year’s Day announcement posted by BigHit on its Korean-language X account.
One of the most successful K-pop groups in history, BTS has achieved multiple chart-topping albums and singles worldwide, solidifying their status as global superstars.
