BLACKPINK brought their Deadline World Tour to London on August 15–16, delivering two unforgettable nights at Wembley Stadium.
On the closing night, the K-pop superstars gave fans a nostalgic surprise by performing the Spice Girls’ debut hit “Wannabe”. The crowd erupted as JENNIE, LISA, JISOO, and ROSÉ put their own playful spin on the iconic ’90s anthem, turning Wembley into a giant sing-along.
This isn’t the first time the group has performed the track — fans may remember their Carpool Karaoke with James Corden in 2023, where they also belted out “Wannabe” and even got their own “Spice” nicknames: ROSÉ as Aussie Pink, LISA as Boss Pink, JENNIE as Shy Pink, and JISOO as Nail Pink.
The tribute came full circle as BLACKPINK’s newest single “Jump” includes the lyric “spice up your life” — a direct nod to the Spice Girls’ legacy. The Diplo-produced.
