Ronaldinho Gaúcho, one of the most iconic figures in football history, has officially announced his first full music album titled “Bruxaria 051”, set to release on October 17, 2025. The former FC Barcelona and Brazil star is making a serious move into the music industry with a 22-track project blending Brazilian funk, rap and trap.
What “Bruxaria 051” represents
The album title carries personal meaning — “Bruxaria” references Ronaldinho’s legendary nickname El Brujo / The Wizard, and “051” is the area code of his home region in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
The project is supported by Tropa do Bruxo, Rap In Cena and Analogic Records, three influential music collectives that Ronaldinho has been closely involved with.
A star-studded collaboration
“Bruxaria 051” features over 40 guest artists, including well-known names like MC Hariel, Dexter, MC Kadu and Leozinho ZS. The intention is not only to mark Ronaldinho’s artistic debut, but also to spotlight the rising urban music scene of Southern Brazil.
According to Rap In Cena co-director Guilherme Camerini, Ronaldinho personally selected artists, shaped the album concept and even recorded the opening track himself. On Instagram, Ronaldinho shared:
“A dream born in the streets has become art. The troopa turns the impossible into sound.”
Release plans and future expectations
The album will be available worldwide on all digital platforms. While no official tour has been announced, fans are already speculating about potential live performances or festival appearances.
This move marks a major cultural crossover — one of football’s most creative legends now entering the music industry with full artistic intent, not as a side project but as a new era.
